The Wright Agency is a family-owned, independent insurance agency that has been serving the individuals, families and businesses of Chester County since 1977.
As an independent insurance agency, we represent our clients and our goal is to offer a variety of alternatives to properly fit their personal and business insurance needs.

Jonathan Wright
As a lifelong resident of Downingtown, Jonathan, graduated from Downingtown Senior High School (before it split) with the Class of 2000. Afterwards he attended Bloomsburg University and obtained his degree in Communications. Following a brief stint working with a Technology Start-Up he joined the family business in 2006. As a licensed insurance agent for over 16 years Jonathan holds his CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation and is working on his CIC (Certified insurance Counselor). Jonathan is licensed in the states of PA and DE. Outside the office he can be found at many networking events in the area. Jonathan is honored to be a Past President of the Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce (2015). Jonathan is also currently serving as Board President of the Downingtown Area Chamber of Commerce in 2022 & 2023. Otherwise, look for Jonathan at a local “Car Show” on the weekends or trying a new local restaurant with his family & friends.
Maria Wright
Maria joined The Wright Agency in 2015. She brings the agency new dimension due to her diverse background and work experience. Maria earned her Business degree from Bloomsburg University and her MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business. Maria is a licensed insurance agent and holds her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation. In her free time Maria enjoys practicing Yoga, Traveling, and spending time with her family. Look for Maria around Downingtown (and beyond!) and be sure to say Hi…or Hola! 🙂
Carolyn Specht
Carolyn is a resident of Downingtown and joined the team at The Wright Agency in 2017. A career in banking for 20+ years is prevalent in her attention to detail, focus on the customer, and friendly face in the agency. As a fully licensed insurance agent Carolyn is equipped to help out with all of your Personal or Commercial insurance needs. Ivette Soto
Ivette joined The Wright Agency in 2021 after a career in banking. She lives in Coatesville with her husband, 4 wonderful kids, and their beloved family dog. When shes not helping clients at the agency she enjoys spending time with her family here in Pennsylvania and also in New Jersey. Ivette is a fully licensed insurance agent and ready to help with all your insurance needs.
John & Fran Wright
John and Fran have been married since 1970. From raising 3 children to building a business, John and Fran have always been the perfect team. They are recently retired and are enjoying time with their family and doing some traveling. They have 6 grandchildren and soon to be 7. John is playing more golf now and they are both involved in helping at their church.
